I found Impressions Denistry by doing some research on line as I was looking for a new dentist. The office vibe and staff were inviting and friendly. Dr. Dhillon was just the kind of dentist I was hoping for. She is very through and explains what she is doing next, making me feel comfortable. She also has amazing dental assistances! Impressions Dentistry has state of the art digital dential radiography sensors giving clearer pictures of xrays with less radiation. I highly reccommend Impressions Dentistry!Posted on Google

I went here and absolutely loved the dentist who saw me. However, trying to get a call back from the front desk has been extremely frustrating. I was told three different times that someone would call me back to go over payment options, since my insurance is in network but I have a waiting period for this specific procedures. I was even told they would speak with the dentist and follow up with me, but it has now been three days and I still haven’t heard anything. Like I said, I truly loved the dentist I saw, but unfortunately the follow up and communication from the front office has been really disappointing.Posted on Google

Spam Spam1 October 2024AVOID THIS DENTIST!! This dentistry AND SMILE DENTIST IN GILROY are owned by the same people. They did thousands of dollars of work on my mothers teeth, only to not do any of the work correctly, destroyed nerves in her mouth, and most recently found out that THEY LEFT A GAPING HOLE IN THE BACK OF MY MOTHERS GUMS THAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. All of this was only found out recently through the help of a second opinion from the dentist, who further corrected all my mothers problems gotten from here. Not to mention, pay attention to the reviews here. They all seem to be fake, or from family. Currently setting up a lawsuit to get back the thousands of dollars they took. Chava Garcia11 June 2024This place is owned by the same owners of sunny smiles dentistry in Gilroy , they seem to want to get you in for appointments for cleaning sooner than you need calling multiple times a days, I went there for my crown since it was near my home but now I regret it , I went in , got my new crown after 1 year crown chipped and now it turned dark and I was also in pain , the owner lady dentist decided there was nothing she could do about it now I have to go to another dentist pay for a new crown because Impressions’s dentistry didn’t want to take any blame or responsibility for it, they made me loose money and time now they lost a customer too. Always patient with my dumb questions. Dr. Dhillon is amazing as well. Always giving me informative information about my dental Health and what will need to get done. Seems Like a scare Tactic in what she says but its not. You have the right to say "hey I can not pay for this Operation right now, May I do it another time?" Not sure why some reviews view it as a scare tactic Its pure Truth. My teeth is not the best and I accept what the professionals are giving to me. Overall happy with everyone there and my dentist. Did a great Job on my first wisdom tooth removal. No pain at all, no need to take the ibuprofen. My initial contact was for an infected tooth, a cracked molar, and need for an implant crown. I was in severe pain, and she resolved the two immediate issues with prescriptions for the infection and pain. I followed up a week later for a temporary crown (cracked tooth) and completing an impression for the implant crown. The cracked tooth required removing extensive fillings and fitting the crown; I felt no pain during the process. What a relief! Christina Madrigal1 April 2023Dr. Dhillon was very friendly, knowledgeable, and the work performed was very efficient and relatively painless during the procedure. I had a horrible experience at another dentist and only looked for a dentist as a necessity for emergency work needing to be done, however Dr. Dhillon was able to see me in the same week, did a full exam (with xrays), and was able to do a temporary crown to help me be able to walk out with a functioning tooth until the permanent came back from the labs. Even though it had been over a decade since my last dental visit, due to anxiety, there was no judgement and I was offered different options for future care to assist with possible anxtiety as well. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful with scheduling, details of care, and gave me a full estimate prior to work being done with my insurance and gave me options without pressure to what work needed to be done that day v.s. what could be completed in the future, and cost wise what worked for me and my needs. Assistants were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. The office was extremely clean and modernized but also very welcoming feeling, without the "smell of the destist" that would normally send me into a panic, which made me feel more comfortable and less stressed during the whole exam. Overall I would recommend Dr. Dhillon and her office (Impressions in Gilroy) to any friend or family member. I will be returning for future care and I am very thankful for the level of care and support the office and Dr. provided.Posted on Google

The process used by Dr. Dillon was a computer image instead of the traditional mold.I was not given a choice and I had no idea of this new process. My molars have a cap almost flat that doesn’t have a grinding surface. The floss gets caught under the cap. I was told that I am not supposed to floss on that side. This bothers and upsets me every time I floss. And the cleaning lasted no more than few minutes. She answered a phone call and that was the end of the cleaning. Lori Deal6 August 2022Omg great dentist. I am so happy I found them. I was with my last dentist for five years and while they are really nice I felt like I was falling through the cracks. They never did a deep clean on my teeth and I had two crowns replaced in the last three months but somehow they missed one on the upper right side that has decay almost to the point of needing root canal. I had been in pain and knew something was wrong. I don’t hurt anymore. I have another one or two on the left upper side that in time I need to replace. I got a deep clean done of my teeth and one crown. I am so grateful for them. It’s seven months later and I continue to be grateful for them and the work that they do. mark whittington26 March 2022The office and exam rooms are modern and clan, additionally, all of the equipment seemed to be new and state of the art. The Dr seemed nice enough and the staff pleasant, however; once I sat in the chair and went through x-rays, pictures and treatment plan it all seemed staged and practiced (like a timeshare presentation) and they seem to use scare tactics to compel you to get work ASAP! I’ve been going to a dentist regularly since 1964 and haven’t missed visits. I recently had to change Dental plans and couldn’t stay with my previous dentist., 4- months ago I had complete x-rays and was told that I needed 2-things done totaling $640 out of pocket expense .This visit I had 7 things needed done with $9355 out of pocket. My teeth apparently took a major downturn and I’ll go by the name Gummy by summer. In my opinion the Dr wants to control everything from start to finish instead of just treating the patient. As one can imagine this was stressful, especially since both of us were experiencing pain in our teeth! After reading available reviews on known providers we chose Dr. Dhillon from Impressions Dentistry, Gilroy. From our first contact with her office and through each of our procedures we have been impressed with the office—the receptionist, dental assistants and especially Dr. Dhillon and Dr. Singh. The office itself appears new and extremely clean. My husband and I both needed root canals and crowns. The demeanors of both doctors helped relax us and the procedures were painless. Haley1 September 2021I have had a tremendous amount of work done, from a root canal, 2 crowns, and had several cavities filled - all in the span of around 3 to 4 weeks. On my first appointment, they were so accommodating! I came in with severe tooth and gum pain and they moved their schedule around in order to triage me, something I have never once experienced from any of the several other dentists I have visited in my life. More importantly, however, is that they were transparent with the cost of services, and made sure everything was copacetic with my insurance. I was able to pay right away in advance for all services, and they told me from the very beginning how much things would cost and why. As for myself, I really just like to be knowledgeable about procedures as well, and no matter how small or complex the questions I had they took the time to explain what they were doing and why! They even indulged my morbid curiosity to see what my tooth looked like mid root canal, but that’s just a personal thing! Honestly, this place is the best dentist’s office I have been to, bar none. I hate going to the dentist, but I enjoy going here because they placed my needs and my comfort as a patient first. The dentists themselves have even called me after appointments to check in on me the day after my procedure to make sure I’m feeling okay. 5 out of 5 stars.
